Community guidelines and membership expectations for AI-GAMNET.

Overview

AI-GAMNET is a community network focused on advancing ethical, inclusive, and impactful AI in The Gambia and across Africa. By joining the network, you agree to participate respectfully and professionally.

Membership expectations

  • Provide accurate information when signing up and keep your contact details current.
  • Conduct yourself respectfully and professionally in all community interactions.
  • Use events, communications, and shared resources in a manner consistent with our mission and values.
  • Respect privacy, intellectual property, and the rights of other members, partners, and participants.
  • Membership Dues: D200 per year for individual members; D50 per year for students upto university level.

Community conduct

We aim to create a safe and inclusive environment for learning, collaboration, and networking. Harassment, discrimination, misinformation, abusive behavior, or misuse of community resources is not tolerated.

Content and communications

By joining, you may receive updates about events, learning opportunities, calls for participation, and community news. You may unsubscribe from non-essential communications at any time where technically available.

Liability and moderation

AI-GAMNET may moderate community communications and may remove or restrict access to content or participation when necessary to protect the community and uphold these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued participation in the network after changes are published indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
